The biggest move of the draft is going to be Brady Quinn moving. Go check out some reports, the new coaching staff in Cleveland has a massive crush on Sanchez and they want him to be their franchise QB.
Considering the Browns are picking fifth overall, there is very strong chance Sanchez will still be there. After selecting Sanchez, Quinn is gonna go for a first round pick later in the draft. They may even throw Braylon Edwards in that deal too. They want a total reboot in Cleveland.

he should fight GSP. 205 might be a bit too big for him.
I don’t think BJ Penn lacks wrestling as much as he didn’t respect GSP’s capability of ground and pound, and his ability to keep people on the ground. But dually note the fact that GSP got fucked the last time e fought Penn and won only by split decision, because of his excellent TD’s. I would love to see Silva go to 205 and fight the LH I just think that Dana has nobody to throw at Silva in the MW division, but I too would love to see Rush vs The Spider.
The thing with Penn is he lacks wrestling, so does Silva. Wretling is the most important part of mma, GSP has statistically the best TDs in mma, and people do not get up when he’s on top. GSP is a huge WW and has said he needs time to build muscle for MW. This would be an excellent fight. GSP via gnp stoppage, Silva has looked bad lately against non worthy contenders. People forget that GSP outstruck Penn, who is the best boxer from mma according to Freddie Roach…

He’s going to be a stepping stone fighter at best now. Sorry for Chuck, but he should have hung it up after he beat Tito Ortiz. He had been fading for awhile.
I think if GSP moves up to take on Silva…I think he’ll have the same result as BJ Penn did when he’s chose to take on the champions in the heavier classes. Just my opinion. I think GSP is a phenomenal/unbeatable fighter within his weight class…in heavier classes I think he’s a force but not a champion.
ANOTHER bammer Silva fight. Chuck should STOP cause his jaw is a (T)KO button now. Kongo would give Brock a good fight but Mir would murk him.

Chuck had a very nice career, but yeah unfortunately it had to end this way.
I think Anderson put on a good fight, he did some dancing around and didn’t push the pace quite so much, but he still picked apart his opponent. He did what he felt was necessary and got a win. Thales could have thrown more or went for more take downs just as much as Silva could have. So you can’t just blame Silva for the fight going all 5 rounds. In the end it was a fairly good card.
I lost respect for Anderson Silva quite a lot:
- Greasing: Though it didn’t effect the fight, he obviously did it on purpose and it’s still cheating.
- Overly Cocky: Was screwing around in the fight to much instead of trying to finish it.
- Those repeated front kicks to the knee: These are career ending kicks, it was a dirty move.
- Silva was on the main card, on PPV, and touted as the #1 p4p fighter and was fighting someone with significantly worse stand up skills. I expect more.
Lidell is a living legend and deserves huge respect. Nonetheless, time to retire Chuck.
And I agree about Silva. Anderson didn’t want to get subbed and Leites just dropped on the floor like a dead fish. Bad matchup.
